We are growing!

Nov 2021

We would like to introduce and welcome our newest member to the team, Nick Tanner.

Nick joins the Aegis Property Group team as a Senior Negotiator and has three years of agency experience in sales and leasing office, retail and industrial stock across the Brisbane fringe.

By initially working across multiple commercial property sectors and numerous sub-markets, Nick has developed a firm understanding of the Brisbane fringe commercial property market as a whole.

Over this period, he has developed a strong passion for office leasing, which has led him to focus on this sector. Nick will focus on the brokerage market across Milton, Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Albion, Newstead, Teneriffe, Petrie Terrace, South Brisbane, Toowong and Lutwyche, targeting occupiers under 500sqm.

Along with Nick’s experience, he has also completed a Bachelor of Property Economics, minoring in both Valuations and Urban and Regional Planning at QUT Gardens Point.

Nick has come on board with a great attitude. Within his first two months with the company, he has already transacted over 1,500sqm of office accommodation.

“I’m really excited to have recently joined the team here at Aegis Property Group. Being able to come on board with a dynamic, growing team has allowed me to hit the ground running. I’m joining a team which offers a wealth of knowledge, which I have no doubt will benefit greatly from.”

Nick will be taking his valued experience and focussing on the brokerage end of the office market, which has been highly active in the past 6-8 months and will continue its trajectory into the new year.

“With a recent surge to secure quality, fitted office accommodation, the market has been left dry with little remaining fitted stock leading into the new year,” Nick shared.

As the Christmas break is now within arm’s reach, many of these tenants put the search for office space on hold until the new year and wait until owners construct new speculative fit-outs. As a result, we are anticipating an active Q1 for this size sector of the market as a result of pent up demand creating a bottle-neck effect.
